About Schools Out Tours

Working with Sandy at Schools Out Tours was a wonderful experience! She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, accommodating, and organized. She planned a fabulous trip for our Grade 9 class that combined just the right amount of educational activities with fun! We would definitely recommend Schools Out Tours to others!

We were beyond impressed with our tour guide, Dan, and our coach driver, Richard. The students bonded with both members of the tour team. It really was incredible to see. Also, I am beyond thankful for the flexibility in the payment schedule as fundraising often has to run until the very last minute, right before the departure. The planning is clear, well-conceived, detailed, and justified. Every effort is made to accommodate last minute changes and this is vital in the current climate of educational/music tours.

Thanks to everyone who looked after all the details for our trip to Halifax. Our clinicians were great, travel wonderful, and security much appreciated. Food excellent, accommodation excellent. Staff was wonderful. It was smooth from beginning to end.

Schools Out Tours provided Baddeck Academy with a wonderful first time experience to the Atlantic Festival of Music. There was never an issue when changing parts of our trip itinerary and the staff were more than helpful to go the extra step in planning. As a veteran of some 28 band trips, I can truly say that none have been as well organized and stress-free as the last half dozen that I have done with Schools Out Tours. Band Directors certainly have enough to worry about without the added pressure of coordinating the many logistics necessary to have a successful band trip. Schools Out Tours continues to provide incredible service to our groups at CBRH. I do not envision travelling without them again!

Schools Out Tours provides our school with quality tour planning each year. What I love most about them is that at the helm are two retired music teachers who know what music teachers are looking for on performance trips. They understand the needs of performance groups and the staff is most pleasant to work with in planning trips. They are flexible and reliable.

Schools Out Tours has organized yet another excellent trip for my junior high school band. This allows me to focus on the important stuff.. the music, while I can trust that SOT has planned the “fun stuff”!! We always have a great trip, learn a lot and come back better musicians.
